Recently, Aliona Ignatieva shared the findings of her research with Het Zuiderlicht. In her talk, she explained how the style governance in businesses and inter-organizational projects may not only foster, but can also impair successful collaboration. The degree of equality is crucial for successful collaboration – and deciding on the right balance between autonomy versus collectivity and flexibility versus rigidity can either make or break successful collaboration.
