New article from Fabian Corver on conceptualising corporate sustainability

Congratulations to SCOOP PhD researcher Fabian Corver for his new article, “The Sustainable Corporation? In Defense of Conceptual Pluralism,” published in Business Ethics Quarterly

Fabian’s research intervenes into debates about how to define “corporate sustainability”, aiming to provide a more flexible understanding of the concept in the context of business ethics. Fabian argues that definitions of corporate sustainability must confront the interplay between empirical and normative theorising (that is, what happens in practice vs what should happen). He suggests a pluralist approach, which combines elements of both.
