James Coleman Symposium

On the 31 of March, the James Coleman Symposium took place at Utrecht University. The symposium aimed to apply SCOOP's transdisciplinary approach to solve the puzzle of improving the resilience and sustainability of our societies by combining insights from sociology, psychology, history, and philosophy into a joint conceptual framework, while actively engaging with societal stakeholders. During this year’s JCA Symposium, SCOOP board members: Bas van BavelNaomi EllemersMartin van Hees, and SCOOP seniors: Liesbet Heyse  & Nina Hansen presented their insights on social resilience and sustainable cooperation. The symposium was chaired by SCOOP's scientific director, Rafael Wittek.
