Dr. C. M. F. (Chloé) de Canson

Chloé de Canson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theoretical Philosophy, in the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Groningen. Her primary research area is epistemology (especially formal, historical, and political). She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the London School of Economics.

Recently, she has been working on the epistemology of limited awareness and awareness growth, as part of a more general project on the foundations of Bayesian epistemology. She also has ongoing work on varieties of scepticism and responses thereto, as well as on standpoint theory and ideology, and the epistemic relevance of the unconscious.
